Notice of 2010 Annual General Meeting

The Coalition of Progressive Electors (COPE) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, September 19 at 2:30pm at the Japanese Hall (487 Alexander St.), Vancouver, B.C.

Join Stanley Park Ecology Society, Commissioner Woodcock, Vivan Pan and the Stanley Park Ecology Society for a walk and a conversation about the future of Beaver Lake.

Hastings Park Consultation – COPE is holding a public consultation about the future of Hastings Park on July 23rd from 6:30-8:30pm. COPE City Councillors David Cadman and Ellen Woodsworth as well as COPE Parks Board Commissioner Loretta Woodcock will be on hand to hear community concerns and thoughts about future strategies on this issue. The event will be held at St. David’s Anglican Church, 2475 Franklin St. (1 block north and east of E. Hastings St. and Nanaimo St.). Light refreshments will be served. Come out and have your say!

Tonight's event is sold out for dinner, although supporters are welcome to come for the entertainment after 8pm by-donation. For those who have pre-purchased tickets, doors are at 6:30 and dinner is served at 7:00. We look forward to seeing you!
