Homelessness top priority for COPE-Vision Council

Vancouver’s new COPE-Vision city council is making homelessness a top priority.

Congratulations to everyone!

Congratulations to the 400 COPE volunteers, staff and candidates! COPE increased its representation on the three boards, electing David Cadman and Ellen Woodsworth for Council, Loretta Woodcock on Park Board and Jane Bouey, Al Blakey and Allan Wong on School Board. Thank you to the unsuccessful candidates Anita Romaniuk, Alvin Singh and Bill Bargeman who were an integral part of one of our strongest campaigns. The Vancouver Greens elected Stuart Mackinnon and Vision Vancouver elected majorities on all three boards. Together, we are bringing progessive government back to Vancouver!
